Severe weather conditions can create damaging surges.  Equipment within your home also creates transient voltage surges, which may damage computers and TVs.  Today's sensitive equipment requires extra protection especially in the event of a lightning strike.  That assurance is now available through our SurgeTamer® program. SurgeTamer® equipment has a product warranty that covers your equipment up to $10,000 per appliance, $2 million per household if it fails. 

All products and surge damage warranties are the responsibility of the manufacturer.  United Electric Cooperative offers no warranties, wither expressed or implied, for the devices installed, nor their fitness for any particular purpose.  The manufacturer will process all claims.
